The Simpsons Hit & Run Is The Most Demanded Remaster Study Finds 14 April 2022 by Oisin Kuhnke It turns out that The Simpsons: Hit & Run is the most demanded remaster, beating out games like GTA San Andreas. UK based games retailer Game recently held a survey looking to find out which games players wanted remastered most. The survey looked at a number of factors including Google search volumes, number of articles on each game, average engagements with articles, and search trends. As well as asking players on Twitter which titles they loved most. And it turned out that The Simpsons: Hit & Run was the most demanded remaster of the bunch, at least according to Twitter. In terms of pure searches, GTA Andreas comes out on top, with searches over 750,000 times a year on Google. And it had been featured in 449 articles in the last year. Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 & 4 comes in second place, with search trends up 175%. And positive reactions at the concept of a remaster helped boost it to second, despite only 60,500 searches.ADVERT ADVERT Credit: Game Perhaps unsurprisingly, Red Dead Redemption came in third, raking up 146,000 searches a year. With articles on the game getting an average of 620 engagements. In terms of the survey, The Simpsons: Hit & Run took ninth place, but is also one of the most talked about possible remasters. The game has over 52,000 yearly searches, and a huge average of 17,000 engagements per article. With GTA San Andreas having an average of 268, you can see how much people care about The Simpsons. The Simpsons: Hit & Run took home the gold on Twitter though, receiving 44% of the overall vote, making it one of the most popular possible remasters around.
