Minecraft Flowers – Everything You Need To Know 30 March 2022 by Christian Wait Much like the real world, Minecraft flowers are naturally spawning plants in the game that can cover the overworld with their various types and colours. Thought of primarily for decoration, Minecraft flowers are also super important for creating different dye colours. Block type: Plant – Non-Solid blockBlast resistance: 0Stackable: YesObey Physics: YesFlammable: YesLuminous: NoTransparent: NoRenewable: Yes How To Grow Them – Minecraft Flowers Used to change the colour of glass, terracotta, will and more, flowers can be planted on grass and dirt but can’t be cultivated like crops or trees. They can occasionally spawn when using bonemeal to generate tall grass, however. When players plant them, they must be in direct sunlight, they will not grow underneath roofs or indoors unless under an artificial light level 8. Azure Bluet A short white/yellow flower that grows on sunflower/standard plains and flower forest biomes. Azure Bluet create a light grey dye. Blue Orchid Found in swamp and taiga biomes, Blue Orchids can be used to craft light blue dye.ADVERT ADVERT Cornflower Growing in planes and flower forest biomes, Cornflowers make blue dye. Cyan Flower Now replaced by Poppies in Minecraft, Cyan Flowers can still be found in Minecraft: Pi Edition but cannot create any dyes. Dandelion Found everywhere that isn’t a swamp and ice plain, Dandelions make for a lovely yellow dye. Maybe keep some back to feed rabbits?ADVERT ADVERT Lilac Found in forest biomes and standing two blocks tall, Lilacs make magenta dye. Lily of the Valley This white flower can be found in forest biomes and makes white dye, shocking isn’t it? OXeye Daisy Used to customise banners to create a sun-shaped picture, they can also be used to create a light-grey dye. Players can find them in plane biomesADVERT ADVERT Peony A two-block tall bush that produces pink flowers, guess which colour dye it produces? Poppy Standing a little shorter than a Rose, the Poppy makes red dye and actually replaced the Rose in-game as of patch one. Rose Bush Found in a variety of forest biomes, Rose Bushes stand two blocks tall and can be used to craft red dye.ADVERT ADVERT Sunflower Found always facing eat, Sunflowers can grow up to two metres tall and can be found primarily in sunflower planes biomes. Tulip Found in a variety of colours including red, orange, white and pink, they can make red, orange, light grey, or pink dye. They can be found in planes and forest biomes. Wither Rose This flower doesn’t grow in-game but can be found when dropped from mobs that are killed by the Wither.
