Horizon Forbidden West Is Getting DLC Suggests Ratings Board 28 February 2022 by Richard Breslin Horizon Forbidden West is seemingly getting DLC or an expansion in the near future. That’s according to an update on a rating board. Horizon Forbidden West is already proving to be a smash hit for Sony and the developers at Guerrilla Games. It may still be early in the year, but the Horizon Zero Dawn sequel is already one of the most successful games for the PlayStation 5. Despite its early success, it should come as little surprise that the sequel already looks set to receive some DLC or an expansion. Not to mention that in December 2017, Horizon Zero Dawn also received the fantastic Frozen Wilds expansion.ADVERT ADVERT However, a video tweeted by the UK governing body VSC Ratings Board, mentions that Forbidden West has a digital storefront to purchase DLC expansions. Oddly, as HFW players will know, currently no such store exists in the game. So, is this an oversight or has unannounced information accidentally slipped? Furthermore, the PEGI rating of Horizon Forbidden West states: “This game offers players the opportunity to connect to their storefront, where they can purchase subsequent DLC expansions, which some parents or carers may want to be aware of. “Parents, carers, or other responsible adults should check to see what is being offered before making any purchase on behalf of a child. Though as we mentioned earlier, this should come as no surprise to fans of the original game. In our review of Horizon Forbidden West, we said it’s: “a triumph for Guerrilla Games. It takes the shining promise of Zero Dawn and elevates it in almost every way possible.
