Unlocking This Horizon Forbidden West Trophy Helps Save The Planet 17 February 202216 February 2022 by Richard Breslin Sony has pledged to plant trees every time a certain trophy is unlocked in Horizon Forbidden West. Which is a wonderful incentive. “For the release of Horizon Forbidden West, we want to do something to help nature… with you,” reads the description in a YouTube video. “Just like how Aloy fights to save the Earth in the game, we can do something together to help our planet.” Partnering up with Arbor Day Foundation, a tree will be planted in the United States to help complete three different reforestation projects. Sure, the trees might not be planted in your country, but this project will have a positive impact worldwide.ADVERT ADVERT Unfortunately, this will only be a limited-time promotion and will not run forever. The project will run from the launch of Horizon Forbidden West this Friday and will end on March 25th. This means you have just over a month to unlock the trophy for the worthy cause. Furthermore, the latter location suffered a devastating fire in 2020, which resulted in nearly 30,000 acres of damaged land. That’s a win, win in my book. In our review, we said Horizon Forbidden West: “is a triumph for Guerrilla Games. It takes the shining promise of Zero Dawn and elevates it in almost every way possible. This truly feels like the RPG the studio has always wanted to make, and I’m so glad that it finally gets to breathe without being overshadowed.” Horizon Forbidden West releases this Friday for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
