Forza Horizon 5 Leak Suggests First Expansion Is Hot Wheels Themed 9 June 20229 June 2022 by Oisin Kuhnke A Steam leak has accidentally confirmed that the first expansion coming to Forza Horizon 5 will be Hot Wheels themed. This was spotted by Reddit user Autumnal_Leaves, sharing a link to the Premium Add-Ons Bundle. At the time the link was shared, the bundle showed an image of Expansion 1, which quite clearly shows a Hot Wheels theme. Of course, it’s been taken down now, but Autumnal_Leaves was able to archive the page on archive.org. The image shows a race car going through a classic Hot Wheels plastic orange loop, with the logo quite clearly visible too. Pretty hard to deny that this one exists, so it’s something exciting for fans of racing toy cars. The Summer Games Fest showcase kicks off later today (June 9) for one. Though obviously the more likely place it will be shown off is at this Sunday’s (June 12) Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase. While this will obviously be the first time Forza Horizon 5 gets Hot Wheels, it isn’t a first for the series. Forza Horizon 3 also received a Hot Wheels themed expansion. Which introduced players to a separate area made of track pieces. And 10 DLC cars were added too, some of which were actual Hot Wheels cars scaled up. Which current gen console is your favourite?Vote! Obviously we don’t know if this new expansion will just do the same thing again or if it will try something new. But DLC like this is always more exciting than just adding more regular cars or normal race tracks.
