Hideo Kojima Is Reportedly Developing A Horror Game 8 June 2022 by Richard Breslin Hideo Kojima is reportedly developing a new horror game after a video revealing the title was allegedly leaked called Overdose. The leak is courtesy of industry insider and video game journalist, Tom Henderson. In a report published on Try Hard Guides, Henderson claims to have been sent footage of the game from one of his sources. The clip is said to feature Qualley wearing a blue dress and walking down a dark corridor while holding a torch.ADVERT ADVERT The video ends with a jump scare before this message appears: “Game Over,” followed by “A Hideo Kojima Game… OVERDOSE.” Furthermore, it is claimed that the game will offer the player a choice of third-person and first-person perspectives. Credit: Konami/Kojima Productions The article has been taken down In an interesting turn of events, Tom Henderson tweeted that Kojima Productions made contact asking for his article regarding the leaked game to be removed. While Henderson rejected the developer’s request, the original article is currently down on the Try Hard Games website. I would assume this might be due to legal reasons. The report is temporarily down as I’ve added a small update but it needs to be approved (the beauty of writing at 6am).The update just says “Update – Kojima Productions have since asked for the publication of this report to be removed which we have declined.” on the report.— Tom Henderson (@_Tom_Henderson_) June 8, 2022 I do realize that my “I have denied the request” came across very arrogantly and I want to make it clear that the comment did not reflect the tone of the conversation I had with Kojima.
