God Of War Ragnarok Voice Actor Wraps Up Recording Lines 7 June 2022 by Richard Breslin A God of War Ragnarok voice actor has wrapped up recording for a leading character. So, could the release date finally be near? The voice actor in question is Ryan Hurst, who plays the mighty Thor in God of War Ragnarok. Fans of Hurst might also be familiar with his other work playing the role of Beta in The Walking Dead and Harry ‘Opie’ Winston in Sons of Anarchy. As reported by GamesRadar, when questioned during a Comic-Con Revolution panel last month, Hurst revealed that he has finished recording “the last tiny bit of work for God of War.” Furthermore, Steven Alvarez, who asked Hurst the question, clarified that he was referring to voiceover work and not motion capture for Ragnarok.ADVERT ADVERT Thor is taller than Kratos Hurst also revealed during the panel that playing Thor in God of War Ragnarok was his first gig involving motion capture. The actor explained that wearing a “suit with balls on” captured all his actions portraying Thor in real-time. Well, that’s at least according to the dedicated detectives of Reddit, who believe that Kratos stands at around 6ft 4”. That being said, if voice actors are wrapping up their lines, hopefully, a release date announcement might be around the corner.
