Showcasing the talent working on the game and accompanied by Franz Ferdinand song This Fffire, the sequence was first shown during the ongoing Anime Expo 2022 in Los Angeles. Set for release in September, Cyberpunk Edgerunners is animated by Tokyo-based animation company Studio Trigger. It’s directed by Hiroyuki Imaishi (Gurren Lagann, Kill la Kill, Promare) and features an original score composed by Akira Yamaoka (Silent Hill).
