Announced last week, The Division Resurgence is a free-to-play third-person RPG shooter for iOS and Android. The new gameplay walkthrough video, which is viewable below, bills it as “a AAA experience featuring a new storyline set in a massive urban open-world”. It shows the player battling enemies in the streets of New York, and provides a look at Resurgence’s weapon customisation and shooting mechanics. The Division Resurgence – Official Gameplay WalkthroughSubscribe to VGC on YouTube “This open-world game is a whole new opus to the Tom Clancy’s The Division franchise, with a new storyline, villains and factions,” according to Ubisoft. “As a player you will be plunged into an independent campaign from The Division 1 and The Division 2. “As an agent of the Strategic Homeland Division (SHD) your mission is to restore order, to protect civilians against hostile factions, and to help them rebuild a better future.” The Division Resurgence is being developed by a core lead team at Ubisoft in collaboration with other studios and partners around the world. Players can currently register to participate in the game’s upcoming closed alpha test.
