According to data published on Tuesday by the NPD Group, 2022 marks the 23rd consecutive year that a Madden NFL game has been the top-selling title during its launch month. This year’s series entry is already the fifth best-selling game of 2022 based on dollar sales, behind only Horizon Forbidden West, Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, and frontrunner Elden Ring.
