Featuring “a new sandbox mode and the brand-new playspace”, Warzone 2.0 will be available for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC via Battle.net and Steam. While this will give players across the game a more even playing field, it will be difficult to adjust to the big change at the start of the game. However, this also means that the game won’t have to try to integrate all of those guns and balance them in the new game. Warzone 2 release date Will my COD points carry over Yes, as far as we know, your COD points will carry over to the new game. Your COD points are linked to your Activision account, not a specific game, so unless something drastically changes, you’ll be able to transfer them to Warzone 2. Warzone 2’s map is called Al Mazrah and features 18 points of interest (POI). As first reported by VGC in September 2021, Warzone 2’s map will include various classic points of interest, including areas based on popular multiplayer maps from 2009’s Modern Warfare 2. This has now been confirmed. The game will also adopt all of Modern Warfare 2’s new movement and water mechanics that were revealed today. DMZ, a new extraction-based multiplayer mode was also finally confirmed. The mode will be included in Modern Warfare 2 and is reportedly inspired by Escape from Tarkov.
