The game, which debuted with a great trailer last year hasn't been showcased for almost a year and doubts were being raised about that release window for the last few months. There was some speculation that it could release this winter instead, but the game will now debut in the first half of 2023. This news came alongside the announcement that Starfield has been delayed to the first half of 2023 as well. This means that both Bethesda and Xbox have virtually no big exclusives left for 2022, which puts the pressure on Game Pass to bag some big third-party games for this Holiday in order to help fill in the gap left by both of these games. Despite the delay in order to make Redfall the "most polished" it can be, Bethesda has promised a deep dive into gameplay for the game soon. And, with the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase taking place in just a few weeks' time, we could see the game there even though it is now set for 2023.
