This includes who dies, who survives, and what information you learn. But, how many The Quarry paths are there in the game and what does each one focus on? Well, the paths cover a number of different things, from relationships between two characters to a specific set of events. Some also include a number of different scenarios that all focus around one theme, such as teamwork, or they can be confined to just a few choices and effects. The Quarry's paths are wide and varied and in your playthrough, some will be deeper and more extensive than others. Below, all the paths can be found, including brief overviews of what they focus on. These are as spoiler-free as they can be, but if you don't want to know anything, we suggest playing through the game at least once before reading the details of each path in full. The Quarry Paths There are 15 different paths in The Quarry – each of these represents a different main selection of choices and decisions that can shape the overall outcome of the game. Some are deeper than others and some begin much earlier into the game, but all have some bearing on events throughout the length of The Quarry. The 15 different The Quarry paths are: Laura and Max Above The Law A Fool's Errand Down The Rabbit Hole Playing With Fire Watch Your Step Pieces Of Silver Finders Keepers Distraction Helping Hand The White Whale Teambuilding Love's Labours Lost A Pound Of Flesh Keepsakes LAURA AND MAX PATH The Laura and Max path governs all the choices that decide the fate of both characters and how much their relationship can endure as they face the many threats of Hacket's Quarry. The Laura and Max path begins in the prologue of the game as they are the first two characters you control. Above The Law Path The Above The Law path focuses on Ted Raimi's Travis. This path covers the interactions the camp counsellors have with Travis and his views on individuals after you interact with him, as well as how he acts to them. The Above The Law path is introduced in the prologue of the game and has effects that ripple throughout the rest of the game right to the end. A Fool s Errand Path A Fool's Errand focuses on Jacob and Emma's relationship and the turmoil and intense emotions that lead to their choices. The A Fool's Errand path begins in chapter 1 of the game and has effects that continue throughout the rest of The Quarry. DOwn The Rabbit Hole Path This path focuses on being able to hide successfully from the creatures attacking you or being able to make the most of traps set up for you. Down The Rabbit Hole kicks off in chapter 1 of the game with Emma and Abigail. Playing With Fire Path The Playing With Fire path focuses on the weapons you obtain and the distractions you have that could give you the leg up in a fight. Playing With Fire begins in chapter 2 and has repercussions throughout the game. Watch Your Step Path Watch Your Step is focused on stepping into the wrong situations or setting your fellow counsellors up to become trapped later on. The first opportunity to begin the Watch Your Step path is during chapter 2 with Ryan and Dylan. Pieces Of Silver Path The Pieces of Silver path focuses on betrayal and the times you choose to attack your fellow counsellors and potentially end them entirely. The first chance you have to trigger this is during Chapter 3 when Nick and Abigail are attacked by something. Finders Keepers Path The Finders Keepers path focuses on helping your friends within Hackett's Quarry or deciding to try to protect yourself. This path opens up during chapter 3 when Nick and Abigail are attacked. Distraction Path This path is all about whether or not you choose to distract those hunting you in Hackett's Quarry. This path can begin in chapter 3 when Jacob interacts with Bobby. Helping Hand Path The Helping Hand path governs times when you might be caught in a pinch and have to sacrifice your limb or a friend's limb and how you try to bandage up the amputations and keep them from bleeding out. This path can begin in chapter 5 when Dylan and Ryan are in the radio tower. The White Whale path The White Whale covers learning the truth behind what is exactly happening at Hackett's Quarry and why the creatures in Hackett's Quarry exist. This path can begin in chapter 7 with Laura confronting Travis in the police station. Teambuilding Path The Teambuilding path is all about teamwork between the counsellors and being able to forge ahead with a plan as one. The path doesn't start until the final act of the game in chapter 8 when Kaitlyn heads to the scrapyard. Love s Labours Lost Path This path is all about freeing your friends from dangerous situations they may find themselves in or when they are trapped and whether or not you decide to just leave them be. This path can begin in chapter 8 when Ryan can choose to free Jacob in the Hackett House. A Pound Of Flesh Path The A Pound of Flesh path focuses on Ryan's survival in the latter half of the game and whether or not he is injured greatly or not. This path can begin in chapter 9 when Ryan pulls the knife out from himself after being stabbed. Keepsakes Path The Keepsakes path focuses on finding a lover's treasured item in Hackett's Quarry and what eventually happens to that keepsake. The Keepsakes path can be initiated from the start of chapter 1, where you play as Jacob. That covers all of The Quarry paths.
