CI Games has revealed that the world in this sequel is going to be over five times larger than the world players could explore in 2014, and it's going to feature a unique character creator and two-player co-op gameplay! There are rumours that it's coming in 2023, though – but they don't specify when just yet. All we have right now is the cinematic gameplay trailer you can see below: CI Games has confirmed that this game will be available as a next-gen exclusive – on PS5, Xbox Series XS, and PC – and that a proper gameplay reveal is coming late 2022. This could mean a little something at The Game Awards in December 2022, but only time will tell. The Lords of the Fallen story and gameplay As for the story, we only know what the trailer above tells us and the fact that it's going to be set over a thousand years in the future. This would suggest that it's quite disconnected from the first Lords of the Fallen game – but, there's no telling whether it is or not just yet. As we mentioned earlier, there's also going to be seamless uninterrupted online co-op gameplay for the first time in the franchise.
