A new Pokémon game is on the horizon and we're all furiously planning how we're going to spend hundreds of hours collecting all the latest creatures for our Pokedex. But, this time we don't have to go it alone because Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet have co-op multiplayer. That's right. Rather than having to adventure the lands of Paldea and grinding your way to 100% of the Pokedex alone, you'll now be able to bring friends along for the adventure, exploring the lands and throwing red and white balls at those dastardly little Pokémon, hoping they don't run away at the last minute. If you're wondering how the Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet multiplayer co-op mode works, then you can rest easy. Read on below to find out everything we know about how the new game mode works and how to get your friends into your game to start capturing Pokémon and prove once and for all who is the best trainer. Poké mon Scarlet and Poké mon Violet co-op multiplayer explained Pokémon Scarlet multiplayer and Pokémon Violet multiplayer will have co-op functionality completely, which is a first for the series. This will allow up to four of you to group up and explore the world of Paldea together. To play in co-op, you first have to head to Union Circle. Once there, you will be able to invite up to three other players to join your game's co-op session. Once everyone has joined your game, you can explore Paldea and battle the wild Pokémon that roam the region. Your party can also take part in Raid Battles together and collect Terastal Pokemon – the new Pokemon unique to Scarlet and Violet. We don't know much about the Raid Battles or how co-op will play out overall, but we do know that legacy multiplayer features like trading Pokémon and battling other trainers will also be present in Pokémon Scarlet multiplayer and Pokémon Violet multiplayer.
