Well here is who is confirmed and set to appear in the revamped fighting game Joe Apsey Updated: Oct 6, 2022 08:31 ET Street Fighter 6 All of the Street Fighter 6 characters have seen a pretty significant redesign or update with the latest fighting game as Capcom step into a new era with the series. But beyond the classic names like Ryu and Chun-Li, who can we expect to return in Street Fighter 6? Well, a number of leaks have unfortunately spoiled a lot of Street Fighter 6's surprises but now the entire roster has been revealed. And a number of fan favourites are returning, but there is also a sizeable selection of brand new characters that fit the new era of the series. Below, you can find a list of all the confirmed Street Fighter 6 characters, with a brief overview of each one. Street Fighter 6 characters The list of Street Fighter 6 characters are as follows: RyuLukeChun LiJamieGuileKimberlyJuriKenDhalsimE HondaBlankaZangiefCammyDee JayMarisaManonLilyJP Ryu Ryu is the classic face of Street Fighter here in a new form. Ever training, Ryu has been seeking true strength and travelled the world in search of opponents. Having overcome the Satsui no Hado, he now seeks greater heights in Street Fighter 6. Height: 5'9 Weight: 187 lbs Luke As a contractor for a PMC, Luke uses his elite military background to teach martial arts in Street Fighter 6. While he may spend his days lazying about eating junk food and playing PC games, he has been training for this fight for a while and is ready for what he may face. Height: 6'1 Weight: 198 lbs Chun-Li A former ICPO agent, Chun-Li spends her time looking after Li-Fen, a victim of the Black Moon Incident. Running kung fu classes, Chun-Li has become a beloved member of the local community. Height: 5'7 Weight: Secret Jamie The Chinatown peacekeeper, Jamie, aspires to the example set by Yun and Yang, the Twin Dragons. As an expert dancer, Jamie places justice and friendship above everything else defending his town with his martial arts skill. Height: 5'9 Weight: 170 lbs Guile As a US Air Force pilot, Guile fights for his country and after dismantling Shadaloo and avenging his friend Charlie, he takes a step back. Enjoying the family man life he steps onto a new battlefield in Street Fighter 6. Height: 6'0 Weight: 218 lbs Kimberly Kimberly had an ordinary upbringing in the US. But, she was a prodigy, graduating college early and now with a desire to be a ninja. As a fan of 80s pop culture, she embraces it in her fighting in Street Fighter 6. Height: 5'6 Weight: 134 lbs Juri The sadistic, enigmatic thrillseeker Juri returns in Street Fighter 6 to enjoy the strife and suffering of others. Taking immense joy in destroying her foes, without revenge against M. Bison as a motivator she wishes away time in a gloomy haze to distract herself. Height: 5'5 Weight: 126 lbs Ken Ken is the long-term best friend of series icon Ryu. He features a similar skill set to Ryu, but while wanting to become the best street fighter out there is his ambition, this desire is tempered by his role as family man. but, In Street Fighter 6, accusations of orchestrating a criminal plot have forced Ken to abandon his family and business and go into hiding. Height: 5'9 Weight: 183 lbs Dhalsim A yoga master, Dhalsim can stretch his limbs and uses this ability to attack his enemies from afar. He can also conjure fire to modify his offensive abilities. From India, he has served as a guide for countless suffering souls but prefers to avoid contact where possible. Height: 5'9 Weight: 109 lbs E Honda E Honda values history and conservatism, as is evidenced by his role as a traditional Japanese sumo wrestler. This hulking wrestler first appeared in Street Fighter II and is a fan favourite. In 6, his globetrotting has prevented his promotion as a yokozuna. Height: 6'1 Weight: 302 lbs Blanka Blanka is one of the most iconic-looking characters from the Street Fighter series. Fully green, he has been living as a nomad in the Brazilian jungle and can enhance his attacks with electricity. In Street Fighter 6, Blanka has become an adventure tour guide and uses his knowledge of the jungle to shoot to fame and provide a comfortable life for his mother. Height: 6'4 Weight: 216 lbs The rest of the characters have been confirmed as a part of the launch lineup. Zangief Zangief looks to be returning to the streets in Street Fighter 6 with a slight redesign and new look. Not much is known about him yet as he was only teased in the opening movie trailer. Cammy Cammy has a completely new look in Street Fighter 6 based on the concept art with a denim jacket and new gloves. Dee Jay Dee Jay is another classic character set to return in Street Fighter 6 with a new look. Marisa Hailing from Italy, Marisa is a brand new character set to feature in Street Fighter 6. Manon Manon is from France and sits alongside the other new fighters set to be introduced in Street Fighter 6. Lily Lily comes from Mexico and appears to use two large weapons to fight with in Street Fighter 6. JP JP is from Russia and his a very distinct look and uses a cane according to the concept art for him. Below, you can find a few of the leaked characters from the roster that haven't made it into the game at launch. A.K.I First, we have A.K.I who is from China and has a cybernetic look to her sleek design. She has seemingly been cut or moved to be a DLC character. RASHID Rashid also has seemingly been cut from the game. But, we expect he will show up as DLC. ED Ed is also not appearing in the launch roster of Street Fighter 6. But, we expect him to be DLC. AKUMA The beloved character, Akuma is not in the launch roster of the game. We would be surprised if he wasn't DLC though. As you can see there is a diverse set of characters that look set to appear in Street Fighter 6 and frankly, we can't wait to see what all of them look like. The currently announced characters already look great and seem like they play amazingly, so hopefully, the rest of the cast will be just as great when we get a look at them.
