Prior to the album's release, Taylor offered a bit of insight into what her fans could expect: "This is a collection of music written in the middle of the night, a journey through terrors and sweet dreams. The floors we pace and the demons we face. For all of us who have tossed and turned and decided to keep the lanterns lit and go searching — hoping that just maybe, when the clock strikes 12 ... we'll meet ourselves."Article continues below advertisement As you might expect, her fans have been conspiracy theorizing, screaming, crying, throwing up, etc. ever since the album was announced, and are doing it all again now that it's finally here.
