Last updated on 4 hours ago4 hours ago. From the section League Onecomments30 Plymouth surrendered a two-goal lead as Bristol Rovers mounted a stunning second-half comeback to earn a draw against the League One leaders. On-loan Aston Villa midfielder Finn Azaz put the Pilgrims in command on 14 minutes with a brilliant left-footed curler as his side went in search of their sixth successive league win. When Adam Randell doubled the lead in the second minute of first-half stoppage time with a thunderous 25-yarder, Argyle seemed set to maintain their four-point advantage over second-placed promotion rivals Ipswich. Rovers had other ideas and on-loan Middlesbrough forward Josh Coburn reduced the deficit just two minutes after entering the fray as a half-time substitute with a close-range finish from Aaron Collins' cross. Collins then showed why he hopes to win a place in Wales' World Cup squad with his ninth goal this season, coolly beating Michael Cooper with a low finish after latching on to Ryan Loft's backheel to deny Argyle victory. 20:32Prepared to give Argyle lots of credit for their recent run to the top, good forward players, quick and inventive and i have no problem with them getting promoted BUT i am not totally convinced YET, remains to be seen if they can stay the course, signs are good, as for us (Rovers) well we are evolving into a good league 1 side, good enough to give any team a game and should finish top half.31HReply posted by howard calcutt today at 20 50howard calcutt

Or have you simply adopted his name in homage to one of the best players to ever wear the quarters? If the former, then I salute you.00More replies (1)downAComment posted by ARHReading today at 20 13ARHReading

19:53Thought it was a fair result. Rovers probably deserved to win on the 2nd half performance. Argyle looked liked a decent side though.80FComment posted by Fast Eddie today at 19 06Fast Eddie

18:19Well played Bristol for making a game of it second half. Even if first goal was handball ? Still top of the pack, we are Argyle 72RComment posted by return of the jock today at 17 52return of the jock
17:52Looks like 2 dropped points for Argyle being 2 nil up but Rovers are on a roll themselves and could've won it as well. Still that's 9 wins and 2 draws in our last 11 league games. A home win on Tuesday against Shrewsbury will set us up beautifully for the Devon Derby aka the Halloween Night Massacre #mindthegapcity102SReply posted by Steve today at 17 59Steve

In the bigger picture a draw away is not the end of the world at this stage of the season and we have a chance to get back to winning ways on Tuesday night.30More replies (1)downLComment posted by Leslie Thornton today at 17 50Leslie Thornton
