He played 12 games in the postseason, averaging 6.5 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 1.3 assists, along with a total of 14 steals and seven blocks. Payton’s best performance in the finals was in Game 5, when he tallied 15 points on a 75% shooting night, along with three steals.
