Freeman fired home a fine volley just before half-time to earn Wanderers a third straight victory. Liam Manning's Dons slid to the foot of the table after a fifth loss in a row The hosts went close early on when Max Stryjek saved smartly to keep out Nathan Holland and Zak Jules headed Josh McEachran's measured cross narrowly over the crossbar. At the other end, Chris Forino's powerful header was well saved by Jamie Cumming. Shortly before the break Freeman lashed home superbly on the volley after Lewis Wing's corner was not cleared. The hosts almost levelled soon after the restart, only for Stryjek to superbly keep out Louie Barry's effort. Back came Wycombe, with Garath McCleary glancing a header into Cumming's grateful grasp. Cumming also saved well as he kept Sam Vokes' close-range header out. Wycombe were in control and Forino planted a header inches wide from McCleary's whipped-in cross. What has gone so badly wrong for both teams who would have expected a much better start to this season.
The wheels need to start turning for MK, bottom after 14 games is not a good idea, need to win the 15th and press with vigour on to get up that table a bit.

This week we were much better and unlucky not to beat our 2nd most bitterest rivals. Need the Jan window but thankfully we have money for transfers unlike some. You will get grief from fran in the mud and Janner. They are Wimbledon dates and Kent going back on a deal where I said I would stop calling them AbanDons. But to be fair they played much better today, deserved the draw really. There was a superb save from Wycombe's keeper towards the end of the game weirdly not even mentioned in this report. They got a goal against the run of play end of the 2nd half from a good shot. We lost it a bit for 25 mins in the 2nd. But good pressure towards the end and a wonder save to stop the equaliser.
