San Andreas Sightseer All GTA 5 Achievements In: GTA 5 Missions Casing the Jewel Store in GTA 5 Edit Improve this page br Casing The Jewel Store is a storyline mission in GTA V given to Michael De Santa by Lester Crest. br In this mission, Michael visits his former man-in-the-chair for his heists, Lester Crest. Lester comes up with a heist job idea for Michael to pay back Martin Madrazo after the latter damaged Madrazo’s girlfriend’s house. Lester asks Michael what kind of job he would like doing and then the two decide to rob a store. Lester has the Vangelico jewelry store in mind. br Lester asks Michael to drive him to the store and then click pictures of the camera positions and vents with a pair of spy cam glasses. Michael gets a picture as instructed and is then asked by Lester to get a shot of the ventilation system from the rooftop of the store. Michael has to then climb up to the rooftop and get a shot of the entire ventilation system from a height. br The duo then return to the garment factory where Michael has to choose his crew and approach for the heist. Michael also includes Franklin in the master plan for the jewelry store heist. (Enhanced version only) br After Mission br Casing The Jewel Store is the prep mission for the main heist after which Michael has to obtain the carbine rifles from an LSPD van for the Loud Approach or the Bugstars equipment and BZ gas grenades for the smart approach. After these missions the main heist is carried out by Michael, Franklin, Lester and the crew in either the Loud Approach or the Smart Approach. br Mission Video Walkthrough br br Trivia br If Michael is not wearing a suit and the player tries to start the mission, Lester will turn him away and tell him to change into "something nice". The player can then explore the factory's interior.When Michael enters his car after taking all of the pictures, the song playing on the radio will be from Los Santos Rock Radio.If this mission is replayed, Lester will not be wearing glasses.Doing the mission too early will result in the player failing to get Rickie as a heist member, which can make getting a gold medal difficult to outright impossible, while also making getting the most cash impossible due to the high cut percentages of the other two hackers. br FAQs br Q How do you complete casing the Jewel store A.
