The first individual to acquire the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan is believed to be MadaraUchiha. Izuna Uchiha, Madara’s younger brother, gave his Sharingan to Madara as he was losing his eyesight due to the frequent use of his Mangekyo Sharingan. Izuna entrusted his Sharingan to Madara so that he could protect the Uchiha Clan. When Madara implanted Izuna’s Sharingan, he unlocked the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan which restored his eyesight. Sasuke Uchiha The other known wielder of the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan is Sasuke Uchiha. After acquiring the Mangekyo Sharingan, Sasuke is set on a path to avenge his elder brother’s death.
