He was also in the Third Division led by Kakashi Hatake in the Fourth Shinobi War. Ensui is Jonin from Konohagakure (The Hidden Leaf Village) and played an important role during the battle against the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist in the Fourth Shinobi World War. He is one of the supporting characters in the Naruto anime series and manga that was written and illustrated by Masashi Kishimoto. Nara was assigned to the Third Division under Kakashi Hatake's command. Later, when the Third Division encountered the reincarnated Seven Swordsmen of the Mist, Zabuza Momochi used his mist-style release to hide and start their Silent-Killing technique. To lift the mist, Kakashi made a strategy with Ensui Nara and Santa Yamanaka to take down Zabuza. While Santa took over their Kakashi body, Ensui used his Shadow Imitation Technique to combine his own shadow with Kakashi's. He was meant to then use Kakashi's shadow as an extension of the technique to stop Zabuza's movements and then keep him down once Kakashi's shadow made contact with Zabuza's which allowed Maki to seal him with her sealing cloth technique. However, Haku intercepted Kakashi's strike halfway through the plan. Ensui told Santa that Kakashi only grabbed one enemy and stopped Haku while he regenerated after Zabuza slashed through him. When Kakashi joined his shadow to Zabuza's, he instantly immobilized him. On the second day of the war, Ensui helped Kakashi to stop Jinin Akebino and bind him with his Shadow Stitching Jutsu until Sai completed his sealing technique. Gari arrived on the scene, and Rock Lee started to fight him, but when Gari used his explosive style, some rocks injured Ensui, and his Shadow paralysis technique went on loose. Jinin was later sealed by Sai sealing technique, and Gari escaped from there. Later Ensui, alongside other Nara clan members, used the Shadow paralysis technique to immobilize the Ten-Tailed beast. Ensui s Personality Ensui is like most Nara clan members, intelligent and brave. He stopped Rock Lee from pursuing Gari when he escaped after Jinin was sealed, which shows he knew what could happen. Ensui s Appearance Ensui has black hair, which he ties like a high ponytail, just like Shikaku and Shikamaru. He dresses in a basic Konoha outfit with a head protector, which consists of an olive jacket, black trousers, and a dark green undereye marking. Ensui s Abilities Ensui is one of the skilled Nara clan shinobi and can use most of all Nara clan secret techniques:- Shadow Imitation, Shadow Bind Technique, Shadow Sewing Technique, Shadow Stitching Jutsu.
