They move at 2.28 m/s, but when provoked, their speed increases to 3.38m/s (Babies are faster). They will also band on wooden doors and break them on hard difficulty. They also don't take any damage from fire and lava. They also have a tendency to break turtle eggs if they are within 23 blocks of one, not counting the block they are standing on. When they spawn, it takes them about 2 seconds to detect nearby turtle eggs. However, if the turtle egg is placed after the zombified piglin spawns, it takes some more time to notice them but will try to break them anyway. They cannot be distracted with gold, and cannot barter as well. Unlike piglins, zombified piglins are not scared of soul torches/lanterns and soul campfires, they also won't run away from zoglins. Despite zombified piglins being passive towards villagers and wandering traders, they still run away. Where do zombified piglins spawn Zombified piglins can spawn in crimson forests, nether wastes, and also from pigs struck by lightning. They can also spawn from piglin and piglin brutes in the Overworld or in the End. They can spawn on most blocks including magma blocks. There is a 5% chance of them spawning as babies, and babies themselves have a 5% chance of spawning as a chicken jockey. Sometimes adult zombified piglins can spawn riding atop a stride with a warped fungus on a stick in their hand. Sometimes piglins may spawn with an enchanted (25% chance) or regular golden sword. They usually spawn in groups of 4 on top of most blocks other than nether wart blocks. In the Bedrock Edition, they can spawn at any light level in groups of 2-4. What do zombified piglins drop Upon death, zombified piglins can drop the following items - 1 Gold ingot (2.5% chance) when killed by a player. The drop rate can be increased (5.5% Maximum) with the looting enchantment on the weapon.0-1 gold nugget. The maximum increases per 1 level of looting enchantment. The original weapon equipped before zombification has an 8.5% and 25% chance of dropping for the Java and Bedrock Editions respectively.0-1 rotten flesh. The maximum increases per 1 level of the looting enchantment.Armor and weapons that were acquired by the piglin before the transformation.5 or 12 experience orbs by adults and babies respectively when killed. Conclusion Zombified piglins are an interesting mob from the nether. They are not completely useless as some of them might drop some gold, weapons, and golden items. Having them in the nether helps in player immersion and makes the nether feel dangerous. FAQs Q Can you cure a zombified piglin A. No, zombified piglins cannot be cured.
