Place an enchanted item in either of the squares to the left and it will strip the enchantments off of the item and give you experience once you select the item on the right. The amount of experience you get depends on how many enchantments there were as well as their level. How to Make the Grindstone in Minecraft Making a grindstone only requires two wooden planks, two sticks, and one stone slab. Place two sticks on either side and a stone slab in between them. You can place an enchanted book with multiple enchantments and a curse on it and remove all the enchantments from it except for the curses.
