Early sessions will cover general and practical issues: understanding health plans, nutritional support for patients, supportive Chinese medicine options and causes and management of pain. Participants then will attend selected breakout sessions. Options will include brain tumors and cancer vaccines; spinal fusion and minimally invasive spine surgery; stroke treatment and research; and epilepsy and deep brain stimulation for Parkinson's disease. Patients also may bring imaging scans and medical documents for review by one of the doctors. Reservations for "Consultants' Corner" may be made on a first come, first served basis at the 7:30 a.m. check-in. Speakers and course directors will include:Michael J.
