Enjoy diving and snorkelling regardless of age

No matter diving or snorkelling, whenever you dive down, you must be amazed by the beautiful scenery and oceanic life, as the sunbeam shines through and dances with the rich biodiversity. Everyone can enjoy underwater sports, especially for snorkelling, where all you need is a mask and snorkel. From the age of 7 to 77 (or older), you can explore the wonders from the sea surface.
Compared with snorkelling, equipment and professional knowledge are essential for scuba diving. It is necessary to take a scuba diving course and dive with experienced instructors. After obtaining the license, you can dive with friends under supervision of dive professionals. Yes, you can dive wherever in the world: Salt water, Fresh water, or even ice water!

Always dive with caution

Like any other sport, snorkelling and diving have certain risks and dangers. In fact, when practicing sport in nature, you must pay attention to the environment and creatures. Moreover, you will be wearing heavy gears that you might not be familiar with. That’s why you should be extra careful when doing diving sports! Here are some essential safety tips:Read all diving and snorkelling product information and safety cautionsNever dive or snorkel aloneTake good care of your dive buddy and children
‍ ‍

Learn about the ocean

Beware of the potential risks For both diving sports, you could easily collide with your surroundings, so always stay alert! During big swells, when you encounter sting rays, stone fishes, jellyfishes or sea urchins, beware and keep your distance. Some other aggressive species are eels, trigger fishes or lobsters. Make sure you stay away from these animals to avoid being electrocuted or attacked. However, seldom are there accidents if you follow these rules:Control your direction and buoyancyKeep calm and do not attack other creaturesWhen standing or kneeling on sand, avoid collision with corals and potential allergy reactionsDo not touch any living organismsWhen diving, wear a full-body wetsuit

Pay attention to the sea condition

Only dive in safe situations ‍

The surface swell is strong

‍Do not snorkel in such situations. Set aside your diving gears on the shore and keep calm and dry.

Are there strong currents

‍This situation may drive you offshore, causing panic or disastrous consequences. As a snorkeller, do not overestimate your abilities and only snorkel in safe environments. For divers, relax and hold on to a dive line, slowly descend to the anchor point to resist from the current. You can also take shelter in underwater landscapes.

Do you feel cold both above or underwater

‍No matter before, during or after going into the ocean, you must wear enough to keep warm. A wetsuit with suitable thickness, dive gloves, socks or hood can keep you warmRemember these tips when exploring the ocean, and pay attention to the environment and personal safety. With these in mind, you can enjoy the underwater world with comfort and ease. ‍ ‍CHECK OUR DIVING AND SNORELING EQUIPMENT Related tagsRelated tags :Water SportsScuba DivingSnorkellingSafety and Security
