Mayo Clinic doctors trained in heart disease (cardiologists) work as a team with nurse educators, nutrition specialists, exercise specialists, mental health specialists, physical and occupational therapists, and other health care professionals to provide coordinated care for people who are participating in cardiac rehabilitation. Mayo Clinic offers a Cardiac Rehabilitation Program staffed by an experienced health care team that provides cardiac rehabilitation services for people with several types of heart disease or who have had heart surgery.
