Biographical summary

Manasi Ramakrishnan M.B.B.S., M.D., is a board certified Family Physician and joined Mayo Clinic Arizona in September 2022. Prior to joining Mayo clinic, she was an Assistant Professor at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She also served in an administrative capacity as Medical Director of a multi-provider Ambulatory clinic during her time there. Dr. Ramakrishnan attended medical school in India. After graduating medical school, she did post-graduate training in General Practice in the United Kingdom for 3 years. After that, she relocated to the United States. She completed residency at the University of Arizona in Tucson. Post-residency, she provided primary care in an underserved area in rural Ohio for 4 years. Dr. Ramakrishnan is passionate about primary care. As a family physician, she enjoys the doctor- patient relationship and the trust that she builds with patients and their families over time. Her areas of interest include preventative care, chronic disease management, care of women and children and acute care needs. She also likes to focus on wellness in health. She enjoys teaching and has served as a preceptor for medical students throughout her career. Her personal interests include spending time with family and friends, baking, music and outdoor activity.
