Horatiu Olteanu M D Ph D , is a Hematopathologist, with specialty interest in bone marrow disorders. His clinical focus includes: Applications of flow cytometric immunophenotyping in the diagnosis and prognosis of hematologic malignancies. Morphologic, genetic, and molecular diagnosis of bone marrow failure syndromes. Bone marrow diagnosis of chronic myeloid neoplasms, such as myelodysplastic syndromes and chronic myelomonocytic leukemia. Minimal residual disease assessment in multiple myeloma, acute myeloid leukemia, and B lymphoblastic leukemia. Evaluation of artificial intelligence for flow cytometric immunophenotyping. In addition to his clinical activities, Dr. Olteanu is active in research and education, has a strong interest in continuing and professional development, and volunteers for several national and international professional societies in this area. He has authored over 150 peer-reviewed papers, book chapters, and abstracts on topics in hematopathology and flow cytometry, and lectured at national and international pathology meetings. Interests
