Close Video Hello. I am Dr. Enrique Elli. I am the Surgical Director of the Bariatric Program here at Mayo Clinic in Florida. I have been involved in the treatment of obesity for more than 20 years. My field of expertise is a multi-modal treatment of obesity and its complications. In the last few years, we have developed a robust clinical practice which treats patients who need surgery for the first time or for those patients who need a revision or suffer complications from the initial operation. We have a comprehensive group of experts that specialize in the management and treatment of obesity and related diseases. Our multidisciplinary group includes surgeons, bariatricians, psychologists, nutritionists, nurses, physical therapists, gastroenterologists and other specialists that will help you in your journey through the weight loss. Mayo Clinic provides an individualized and personalized treatment for each patient, and as a multidisciplinary group, we try to recommend the best treatment for each patient. Our team has very specialized surgeons that provide optimal surgical care. We decrease complications, decreasing the length of stay, and also a quick return to normal activities. As a tertiary center we also care for patients who have a very complex surgical history from previous bariatric procedures. We have the expertise and the knowledge to treat all kinds of complications after bariatric surgery. In summary, Mayo Clinic in Florida has a robust and multidisciplinary team that will work individually on each patient trying to offer the best treatment possible.
