Mohamad H Yamani M D , F.A.C.C. is a heart failure cardiologist and the Director of the Inpatient Service and Chair of Heart Failure Division in the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at Mayo Clinic Florida. Dr. Yamani's clinical interests and research focus on clinical studies of heart failure. He is the principal investigator and co-investigator in several clinical trials. Dr. Yamani is a Professor of Medicine at Mayo Clinic and has published over 80 original peer-reviewed papers as well as contributing to books on heart failure. In addition to his clinical and research work, Dr. Yamani is a member of the American College of Cardiology, the American Heart Association, the Heart Failure Society of America, and The International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation. Dr. Yamani also mentors a large number of residents and fellows in both clinical and research capacities.
