Close Video My name is Burcin Taner, I'm chairman of the Department of Transplant at Mayo Clinic in Florida. I'm very passionate about my job, and I know that I can bring something to my work. Seeing a patient suffering from end-stage organ failure and being able to change their lives immediately after transplant operation, is a strong attraction for me. I really enjoy direct communication with my patients and their families. It's very gratifying to see patients smile, they're happy. All of a sudden you're able to change their life, and they appreciate it.
