Sudhir S Kushwaha M D , is Professor of Medicine and Consultant, Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minnesota. Dr. Kushwaha earned his undergraduate medical degree from the London Hospital Medical College, University of London, and his postgraduate M.D. from University of London. He completed his residency and fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital. Areas of clinical expertise include: Treatment of end-stage heart failure including the use of left ventricular assist devices Cardiac transplantation Pulmonary hypertension Dr. Kushwaha is Director of the Cardiac Transplantation and VAD Program at Mayo Clinic. His research interests are focused on physiology and disease of the transplanted heart.
