Der konzernbilanzielle Firmenwert ist eine zentrale Größe der Konzernrechnungslegung. Seine Erst-, Folge- und Endbilanzierung stellt die Konzernführung vor besondere Probleme der Gesetzesauslegung, wenn das enorme bilanzpolitische Potential voll ausgeschöpft werden soll. Umgekehrt stellt sich für externe Bilanzadressaten die Frage nach der Aussagefähigkeit dieser in der Konzernbilanzpraxis sehr bedeutsamen Abschlußposition. Jan-Philipp Sauthoff zeigt, unter welchen Bedingungen konzernbilanzielle Firmenwerte in ein- und mehrstufigen Konzernen entstehen und wie die Regelungen der Folge- und Endbilanzierung des konzernbilanziellen Firmenwertes auszulegen sind. Besonderen Wert legt der Autor auf die Analyse der Aussagefähigkeit, wobei ergänzend die alternativen Firmenwertkonzepte der IAS bzw. der US-GAAP untersucht werden. Back to top
