Die Ansiedlung renommierter Unternehmen der Technologiebranche ist das Ergebnis einer zielstrebigen und erfolgreichen Wirtschaftspolitik. Dadurch rückt dieses Land vielerorts in den Blickpunkt von Diskussionen. Arndt Roller stellt die konsequente irische Ansiedlungsstrategie dar und analysiert die volkswirtschaftlichen Effekte der Direktinvestitionen. Die Studie zeigt, daß die erfolgreiche Ansiedlung der Unternehmen durch ein professionelles Standortmarketing initiiert worden ist.
