Die Migration erlaubt einen Technologie-Sprung bei gleichzeitigem Investitionsschutz. Die betroffenen Unternehmen sehen sich bei der Migration jedoch häufig mit bisher unbekannten Aufgaben und komplexen Fragestellungen konfrontiert. Fabian Dömer zeigt auf der Basis einer empirischen Untersuchung von Migrationsprojekten, welche Faktoren technologischer, organisatorischer, wirtschaftlicher und personeller Natur den Erfolg einer Migration maßgeblich beeinflussen.
