About the author

Gottfried C. O. Lohmeyer arbeitet als Beratender Ingenieur und leitet das Ingenieurbüro G. Lohmeyer IGL in Hannover. Er ist von der Ingenieurkammer Niedersachsen öffentlich bestellter und vereidigter Sachverständiger für Betontechnologie. Seine langjährig gesammelten Fachkenntnisse hat er für die Baupraxis aufgearbeitet und in vielen Seminaren sowie in zahlreichen Ver- öffentlichungen dargelegt.

Weitere Lehr- und Fachbücher aus seiner Feder bei Teubner sind: Grundlagen der Baustatik, Festigkeitslehre und Stahlbetonbau. Außerdem arbeitete er an dem Titel "Lufsky Bauwerksabdichtung" (Cziesielski) mit.
