Der gute Draht zum R/3: Alles über RFC-Echtzeitkommunikation mit Visual Basic, anhand von Beispielen einfach erklärt. Das Buch geht auf die vielfältigen Werkzeuge und Methoden detailliert und mit einem Höchstmaß an Praxisbezug ein. Neben dem Handling von SAP-Business-Objekten (BAPIs) zur Manipulation betriebswirtschaftlicher Prozesse wird auch der meist schwierig zu realisierende Austausch elektronischer Dokumente (IDOCs) behandelt. Weitere Schwerpunkte sind die Erstellung von Proxy-Objekten, die in Verbindung mit dem MS Transaction Server das Zwischenstück zwischen VB-Applikationen und R/3 bilden, sowie die volle Integration des Microsoft .NET-Frameworks.
