Verkehrstelematische Systeme bieten enorme Chancen zur Unterstützung von Entscheidungen im Personenverkehr. Sie liefern aktuelle, detaillierte und individuell aufbereitete Informationen. Dieses Potential wird bislang jedoch kaum ausgeschöpft. Viele Pilotprojekte kommen über regional begrenzte Achtungserfolge nicht hinaus. Gewöhnung und Netzeffekte führen dazu, daß das zusätzliche Angebot an Information kaum angenommen wird. Mit einem nichtlinearen Modellierungsansatz geht Tim Bussiek diesem für Informationssysteme typischen Phänomen nach. Durch die Simulation des Entscheidungsverhaltens für motorisierten Individualverkehr und öffentliche Verkehrsmodi deckt er Verharrungssituationen (sog. Lock-Ins) auf. Im Rahmen einer Analyse der Wirkungsweise der neuen IT-Instrumente werden Ansatzpunkte und Strategien für den effektiven Einsatz von Informationssystemen vorgestellt. Back to top
