About this book

Seit Jahrzehnten werden bei der Distribution von Konsumgütern Mehrwegverpackungen verwendet. Das reduziert zwar die Kosten des Packmitteleinsatzes und schont natürliche Ressourcen, führt aber häufig auch zu Mehraufwand auf logistischer und administrativer Ebene. Karlheinz Mevissen untersucht, wie Mehrwegverpackungen effizient eingesetzt und - vor allem - wie sie der Wiederverwendung zugeführt werden können. Der Autor entwickelt ein Simulationssystem, mit dem unterschiedliche Gestaltungsmöglichkeiten der Redistribution von Mehrwegverpackungen im Hinblick auf Ressourcenverzehr (Kosten) verglichen und beurteilt werden können. Das Leistungsvermögen des Simulators wird an verschiedenen Szenarioanalysen denkbarer Verwendungsmodalitäten von Mehrwegverpackungen exemplarisch verdeutlicht. Back to top
