Eva-Maria Lehming untersucht das theoretische und praktische Wirken von Carl Hundhausen, dem deutschen Gründungsvater der Public Relations. Die Autorin zeigt, daß Hundhausens Reden und Handeln kompatibel sind: viele Bestandteile seiner PR-Theorie finden sich in seiner Berufsausübung wieder. Weitere Aspekte der Analyse sind die Rezeption von Hundhausens Schriften sowie sein Einfluß auf die Praxis der Public Relations.
