One Of 50 Lexus LFA Nurburgring Editions Ever Made Is For Sale

Dec. 24, 2021 6:11 PM ET by Sebastian Cenizo For Sale / 11 Comments And the spec is, well, spectacular. The Lexus LFA is a true icon, and its value seems to be going only one way. This year, we saw a regular LFA sell for over $800,000 before a Nurburgring Edition breached the seven-figure mark, selling for an astonishing $1.6 million at auction. We've been patiently waiting for a new version of the car to come to life, and there is finally a concept that could do just that. Sadly, the LFA successor is going to be electric if it makes it to production, which could make the original even more valuable. That's why we're encouraging you to empty your kids' college fund, remortgage the house, and live on bread and water so that you can buy this absolutely magnificent LFA Nurburgring Edition finished in an elegant emerald shade. Joe Macari Joe Macari As hardcore fans of the LFA will know, only 500 were made. But then there was the Nurburgring version, and only 50 of these ever saw the light of day, according to official claims (some say that as many as 64 were made, but it's still a super rare car). The car that you see here is for sale at Joe Macari and is actually Whitest White underneath, having been wrapped in "Emerald T" vinyl by Topaz Detailing back in 2019. Boasting gold flakes, this color truly pops in the light and is arguably as stunning as paint. In fact, we think it looks even better than the Nori Green Pearl you can get on the Lexus LC. Inside, the LFA is trimmed in Black Alcantara, which looks fantastic alongside the carbon fiber trim elements. Joe Macari Joe Macari This example was originally delivered new to Canada in 2012 before being exported to the UK two years later. In the past seven years, it has had just two private owners. In total, just under 12,000 miles have been covered from new, and the car was serviced in June of this year. New brake discs and pads were also fitted less than 3,000 miles ago. Unfortunately, an exceptional example like this has the price to match: £849,950, or a little over $1.1 million. That's still considerably less than the car we mentioned at the outset, but with more mileage and some light visual modification, it seems justifiably priced, relatively speaking. If anyone would like to fill the CarBuzz Christmas stocking with an icon, this is what we've asked Santa for. Joe Macari Joe Macari Joe Macari Joe Macari
