Nov. 30, 2021 5:34 PM ET by Jake Lingeman Movies & TV / 1 Comment "CSR2" will feature Block, his daughter, and the Hoonicorn Mustang. If you're of a certain age, video games come to your Nintendo Entertainment System, your PlayStation or Xbox, and maybe a few PCs. But many kids today play games on their phones, and Zynga is one of the biggest makers. Previous hits include FarmVille, which caught fire for a minute, Words With Friends, and CSR, the most popular racing game on mobile. We're now on to CSR 2, and on Tuesday the company said it's bringing everyone's favorite Hoonigan into the fold, namely Ken Block and his 1,400-hp AWD Ford Mustang Hoonicorn. The promotion kicked off with the Hoonicorn vs. The World 2 series on Block's channel. Zynga Zynga Zynga "I am stoked to kick off this exciting partnership with CSR2, which enables players around the world to experience the thrill and adrenaline of driving the Hoonicorn from the comfort of their mobile phone," said Ken Block. "Racing my daughter, Lia, in the game makes this campaign so fun to me, and I look forward to sharing my passion for racing with the CSR2 gaming community." In the game, players can get special help from Block as he teaches is daughter Lia to drag race. CSR2 will be the first to introduce some players to "hooning," which is a form of both precision and aggressive driving, made famous by Block's Gymkhana experiences. Zynga Zynga Zynga "We are extremely excited to embark on this multi-year partnership with Ken Block, which marks an important milestone for CSR2," said Julian Widdows, Vice President of CSR2 Racing. "Ken's artistic and fearless approach to racing has ignited the passion of speed enthusiasts around the world. He is a racing legend, and we look forward to bringing his extraordinary talent to the mobile screen." Players will be able to race the Hoonicorn against the game's fastest cars. They include a Ford Mustang Cobra Jet, SSC Tuatara, and Weaver Customs' Twisted Mistress. There are a total of 40 races, not all of which are drag races, and players get in-game rewards like parts and cars by winning. You can get CSR2 with Ken Block at the App Store and on Google Play.
