First 2022 Infiniti QX60 Handed Over To Happy Customer In Alabama

Dec. 04, 2021 10:31 AM ET by Gerhard Horn Industry News / 6 Comments Many more examples of the impressive SUV will follow. The first example of the new-generation Infiniti QX60 was handed over to its owner in late November. Infiniti says this is the first of many to come. This particular QX60 was sold to Sharon Watkins, a retired military service member and mother of two. She's not a first-time Infiniti buyer, however. Watkins reserved her QX60 in September and waited for it to arrive. According to Infiniti, there are thousands of other customers who also signed up for a new QX60. We're not surprised, as the QX60 is an excellent addition to the Infiniti lineup Watkins says the three-row QX60 fits perfectly into her life. It's perfect for her day-to-day routine, and she's also eager to take it on family trips. Infiniti Infiniti "Lots of features caught my eye, such as Apple CarPlay," Watkins says. "I love the panoramic sunroof, too." But her favorite feature is the Wi-Fi hotspot, available for up to seven devices. We can relate to that. Having in-car Wi-Fi to keep the kids entertained is one of the best inventions since the selfie stick. The QX60 is aimed squarely at the Acura MDX. It's priced to go up against the MDX, and it does reasonably well in a straight-up comparison. Infiniti's main selling point is value for money. While the entry-level model's price of $46,850 may seem steep, all models get a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment with wireless Apple CarPlay and wired Android Auto compatibility, one-touch third-row access, leather-appointed seating for up to seven with heated front seats, and a heated steering wheel as standard. Infiniti Infiniti Infiniti Watkins purchased a QX60 Luxe equipped with 20-inch alloy wheels and a naturally aspirated 3.5-liter V6 producing 295 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque. It's an older engine, but in the QX60, it's mated to an all-new nine-speed automatic transmission. Other engines are available elsewhere in the world, but Infiniti still needs to decide whether to offer these options in the US. "As the all-new 2022 Infiniti QX60 rolls into showrooms across the US, I can't wait to hear more from our new owners and their experiences with our newest SUV," said Jeff Pope, group vice president, Infiniti Americas. "Stories such as Sharon's bring to life why we do what we do, and I hope she enjoys the QX60's versatility and comfort on the road." Infiniti Infiniti Infiniti Infiniti
