Harry Potter Gets A Wrangler 6x6 For New Adventure Film

Dec. 20, 2021 1:40 PM ET by Gerhard Horn Movies & TV / 3 Comments It's the only way to make Daniel Radcliffe look intimidating. Now that the world is slowly returning to normal, cinema houses are slowly releasing big blockbuster films again. And they don't get bigger than The Lost City, starring Sandra Bullock, Channing Tatum, Daniel Radcliffe, and Brad Pitt. Daniel Radcliffe, or Harry Potter as most of you know him, is the baddie in this movie. He plays a wealthy Bond-type villain called Fairfax. Unfortunately, Radcliffe isn't incredibly intimidating, which means the producers had to find him a car that perfectly conveys his character's dastardly personality. Enter the Apocalypse 6x6, which makes its big-screen debut. We find it quite refreshing that Paramount Pictures used the products of a small company like Apocalypse Manufacturing instead of a huge automotive manufacturer like Jeep.
Apocalypse Manufacturing is also responsible for building the 1500 TRX-based Warlord, but it has received the most attention for the Apocalypse 6x6. Even Jay Leno had a turn behind the wheel.
Apocalypse's 6x6 is a proper custom build. The third axle is not purely for show, as it is in so many 6x6 vehicles. It's a driven axle, making off-roading a joy. There are three engine options available. You can have a 3.0-liter turbodiesel, a naturally-aspirated 6.2 liter LS3, or the full Hellcat with 707 horsepower. Guess which one Fairfax uses? A real villain does not care about fuel consumption. The 6x6 is also equipped with huge 40-inch tires, making it perfect for hunting down escaping individuals. Apocalypse Apocalypse Apocalypse Apocalypse If you look closer at the trailer, you'll notice that whoever did the car casting did a marvelous job. Brad Pitt is hopelessly underequipped with a wheelbarrow, but the real stinker is used by Channing Tatum. He goes on a mission to save Sandra Bullock armed with a Bajaj Qute, which is one of the cheapest cars on sale in the world. It's not available in the US because it offers zero safety features. Seriously, it's about as rigid as one-ply toilet paper. This writer had the misfortune of driving one while in Africa a few years ago and it was utterly useless, which makes it a perfect partner for Channing Tatum's character.
