Ram Introduces Boot Range Inspired By 1500 Limited Longhorn
Dec. 02, 2021 9:01 AM ET by Gerhard Horn Trucks / 6 Comments Now you can literally shove a Ram up a Ford's owner's rear end. Ram has partnered with Lucchese to launch a premium, western-infused, handcrafted boot collection inspired by the interior of the Ram 1500 Limited Longhorn 10th Anniversary Edition. The reason Ram chose this particular model and not the Ram 1500 TRX is attention to detail. According to Ryan Nagode, the head of Ram interiors, the Longhorn specification is the pinnacle, and customers have learned to expect nothing but the best. Nagode first visited Texas more than a decade ago, looking for inspiration. He and his team wandered into several Western stores and were impressed by what they saw. "Going into a boot shop and some of the saddle shops, and seeing the attention to detail, the creativity, and the uniqueness, I knew that was fundamental to get into the Longhorn and even more so, play that up on the 10th Anniversary Edition," Nagode said. Ram Ram Ram Ram Manufacturers getting into the shoe business is nothing new. Volvo made a fabulous pair of shoes earlier this year. Nor is Ram the first manufacturer to be inspired by shoes. The Ford Maverick's interior was inspired by Levi's shoes. According to Ram, the boots were created with the utmost attention to detail. The collection consists of five Ram-branded boots with three styles for men and two styles for women. "We're excited to launch our design collaboration with premium boot maker Lucchese, showcasing again how the Ram Truck Brand takes great pride in delivering a high level of quality and craftsmanship in every product delivered to customers," said Marissa Hunter, vice president of marketing - North America. "This one-of-a-kind collection brings together these two high-end brands, drawing inspiration from the premium materials featured inside the Ram Limited Longhorn 10th Anniversary Edition." Ram The collection includes the Ram Men's Tooled Western Boot ($2,495), Ram Men's Horseman Boot ($995), Ram Men's Ostrich Horseman Boot ($745), Ram Ladies' Giant Gator Western Boot ($1,395), and the Ram Ladies' Horseman Boot for $695. "With any partnership Lucchese enters, we look for shared values and common purpose," said Doug Hogue, vice president of product and marketing for Lucchese. "Ram Trucks clearly exemplifies a drive and desire to provide the highest quality and most premium experiences to their customers. At Lucchese, we feel the same. We are honored and happy to be able to partner on a celebration this exciting. Together, we have been able to celebrate the beauty and craft that unites us through the western lifestyle." The boots are currently available for pre-order. Ram Ram Ram Ram Join The Discussion
