Stunning Muscle Car Collection Up For Sale

Sep. 08, 2019 2:15 PM ET by Martin Bigg Auctions / 1 Comment Nearly 100 classic American muscle cars are heading to auction this month. Coyote Johnson is the owner of one of the most impressive muscle car collections we've ever seen. Over the past 40 years, he's amassed nearly 100 muscle cars from Ford, Chevrolet, Dodge, Plymouth and Pontiac. This month, Johnson's massive muscle car collection is heading to auction for another American muscle car fanatic to cherish. Coyote earned his name from chasing Plymouth Road Runners. During his high school years, he would obsessively scan the classifieds looking for his next ride to race. VanDerBrink Auctions VanDerBrink Auctions VanDerBrink Auctions It didn't take long before his car collecting habit turned into a hoarding obsession as his yard was soon filled with muscle cars including Chargers, Impalas, GTOs, Chevelles and Trans Ams. He even built custom buildings around them to protect them. His first car was a 1969 Plymouth Road Runner, but that model isn't for sale since it presumably has a lot of sentimental value. The condition of the cars in the Coyote Johnson collection vary significantly. Some look pristine and still run, but some aren't in working order and will require a lot of work to restore back to their former glory. Every car will also be sold without a reserve, so this could be a great opportunity if you want to start a classic muscle car collection. The auction will be held at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds on September 14. You can find a list of the complete collection on the VanDerBrink Auctions website.
