Well, here's an idea. The prolific Nikita Aksyonov has rendered the new Bugatti Centodieci as a roadster. It was ostensibly a simple manner of airbrushing the top off the thing, though we're sure it was a more involved process than that (or at least would be for most of us). But it probably doesn't hurt any. For better or worse, though, a Centodieci Roadster isn't very likely to happen. For one thing, Bugatti has committed to making just ten examples of the Centodieci, and they'll all be coupes. Mind you, if its sister company serves any precedent, roadster versions of Lamborghini rarities like the Veneno and Reventon did follow their coupe counterparts with little forewarning, so we could be proven wrong on that point. Bugatti Bugatti Bugatti More to the point is that, in the past half-century-plus, Bugatti has made only one convertible. That was the Veyron Grand Sport (and Grand Sport Vitesse). It has yet to do the same with the Chiron, much less the Divo or one-off La Voiture Noire. The EB110 that inspired the Centodieci was never offered as a roadster. The last one before that was the Type 101, half of whose eight examples built in the years before and after WWII were made into convertibles. Whether the Centodieci will (or indeed should) pick up that mantle, we couldn't say for sure... but we wouldn't count on it.
