LEAKED The Lamborghini Sian Is Here With A $3 6 Million Price Tag

Lamborghini had already announced it would reveal a new special edition car with a hybrid drivetrain at the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show. But before the Italian automaker revealed its latest creation, it wanted to give an exclusive look to owners via the "Unica" mobile app. Sadly, one owner could not keep a secret very well and the first image of the car has leaked onto the bhp Instagram account. Introducing the 2020 Lamborghini Sian, a hybridized version of the Aventador SVJ set to be revealed tomorrow at Frankfurt. We'll have to wait another day to get the full specs but here's what The Drive says we can expect from the Ranging Bull's latest one-off. bhp via Instagram Lamborghini Lamborghini Leaks say to expect between 63 to 80 copies of the car, each priced at a whopping $3.6 million -- this one is only for diehard collectors. These same leaks say that all copies of the Sian have already been sold, so your opportunity to get one may have already passed. Power is expected to come courtesy of the same 6.5-liter V12 engine found in the Aventador but with the addition of a 48-volt mild-hybrid system producing an additional 30 horsepower and an unspecified amount of torque. The standard Aventador SVJ already produces 770 hp, so the Sian could easily exceed the 800 hp mark. Lamborghini Lamborghini Lamborghini As with most Lamborghini one-off cars, the design language and powertrain technology may be used for future standard series cars. Potentially, this means we might expect to see the mild-hybrid drivetrain from the Sian used in the upcoming replacement for the Aventador. Lamborghini has said it wants to keep the naturally aspirated engine for as long as possible, so adding hybrid technology is the best way to avoid having to resort to turbocharging.
